Resumen
Objetivo: determinar la relación entre calidad de vida y salud bucodental en
pacientes con prótesis parcial removible en una clínica dental de Andahuaylas
2021. Materiales y métodos: el tipo de estudio fue básica, diseño no experimental.
La población estuvo constituida por 100 pacientes con prótesis parcial removible,
la muestra fue la misma que la población, desde el 19 de septiembre al 19 de
octubre del 2021. La recolección de datos para la calidad de vida se realizó
mediante el cuestionario OHIP-EDENT y para la salud bucodental se obtuvo
mediante el índice CPOD, el índice IHOS y el índice para evaluar el estado de
adaptación y conservación de la PPR. Resultados: se obtuvo que de los 100
pacientes, el 23% demostraron que la calidad de vida fue buena y la salud
bucodental fue regular. Se demostró la existencia de una relación significativa entre
calidad de vida y salud bucodental, mediante la prueba estadística de Tau-b de
Kendall -0.662 con una relación significativa con un (p = 0.004). Conclusiones:
Existe relación entre calidad de vida y salud bucodental en pacientes con prótesis
parcial removible en una clínica dental de Andahuaylas 2021.
