The effect of the biopesticides Eugenol at concentrations of 200, 300 and 400 mg/L and Ningnanmycin at concentrations of 300, 400 and 500 mg/L on germination and mycelial growth of Cylindrocarpon sp. was determined. The effect on germination was evaluated by confronting 2 mL of the different concentrations of each biopesticide with 2 mL of a spore suspension of Cylindrocarpon sp. at a concentration of 105 spores/mL; it was incubated at 25°C for 24 hours and then the spores germinated in the control and at each concentration of the biopesticides were counted in the haemocytometer. For the evaluation of mycelial growth, we worked with the technique of poisoned medium on Sabouraud agar, which was served in Petri dishes for each concentration of biopesticides and control, sowing Cylindrocarpon sp. by puncture in the central part of each plate, then incubating them at 25°C and taking measurements for 10 days of the radius of each plate. Eugenol at concentrations of 200, 300 and 400 mg/L was found to completely inhibit germination and mycelial growth of Cylindrocarpon sp. In relation to Ningnanmycin it was found that, at concentrations of 300, 400 and 500 mg/L it decreases germination up to 56.29, 31.79 and 22.52 % respectively, and mycelial growth up to 57, 29.5 and 32 % respectively. It is concluded that the biopesticide Eugenol totally inhibits the germination and mycelial growth of Cylindrocarpon sp.; while increasing the concentration of the biopesticide Ningnanmycin decreases the germination and growth of Cylindrocarpon sp.
