Resultados: Gestational anemia is not related to low neonatal APGAR at 1 minute (χ²= 0.7168 ; p= 0.3972 ; RR=1.27;I.C = 95% (0.73-2.23)) y 5 ’ minute (χ²= 0.7168 ; p= 0.3972 ; RR=1.27;I.C = 95% (0.73-2.23)) Conclusiones: La anemia gestacional no es factor de riesgo para bajo APGAR neonatal . Introduction: The APGAR test informs about the state of the newborn and the response to resuscitation is measured at 1’min and 5’min; There are maternal factors such as neonatals that influence the low neonatal APGAR. Gestational anemia is a disorder in which the number of erythrocytes is insufficient to meet the body's needs during the gestation period. The authors disagree about the relationship between gestational anemia and neonatal APGAR Objectives: To determine if gestational anemia is a risk factor for low neonatal Apgar. Design: Historical Cohort. Place: Regional Teaching Hospital of Trujillo (HRDT), La Libertad, Peru. Material: Clinical records of pregnant women treated in the obstetrics service of the HRDT in the 2014-2018 period. Procedure: The pregnant women treated in the 2014-2018 period were divided into two groups: pregnant women diagnosed with gestational anemia and not diagnosed with gestational anemia, then the neonatal APGAR was analyzed at 1'min and 5'min. Results: It was evidenced that gestational anemia is not related to the low neonatal Apgar at 1'minute (χ² = 0.7168, p = 0.3972, RR = 1.27, IC = 95% (0.73-2.23)) and 5 'minute (χ² = 0.7168, p = 0.3972, RR = 1.27, CI = 95% (0.73-2.23)) Conclusions: Gestational anemia is not a risk factor for low neonatal Apgar.
