La presente tesis, se ejecutó en la Institución Educativa de educación secundaria 81516
“Libertad”, Distrito Casa Grande, Provincia Ascope, Departamento La Libertad desde julio
del 2019 a diciembre 2019. El objetivo fue proponer un Plan de Manejo de Residuos Sólidos
para reducir la contaminación en la Institución Educativa 81516 “Libertad”, para ello se
aplicó encuestas sobre nivel de conocimiento en manejo de residuos sólidos dirigidas a
estudiantes del nivel secundario. Las encuestas tuvieron un valor de alfa de Cronbach de 0.7,
brindándose capacitaciones teóricas-prácticas. Se aplicó dos encuestas a 87 estudiantes,
donde los resultados de la Encuesta 01, resaltando importantes interrogantes, muestran que
el 36% de encuestados manifiestan que no existe una continuidad sobre el manejo de
residuos sólidos en el colegio y sólo un 45% se informa constantemente del tema. En la
Encuesta 02 se halló que el 95% de estudiantes están interesados en la implementación de
un Plan de Manejo de Residuos Sólidos para minimizar la contaminación, dichas
deficiencias obtenidas en los resultados se redujeron mediante compromisos, capacitaciones
y actividades productivas en el manejo de residuos sólidos recomendándose un Plan de
Manejo de Residuos Sólidos. This thesis was executed in the Educational Institution of secondary education 81516
"Libertad", Casa Grande District, Ascope Province, La Libertad Department from July 2019
to December 2019. The objective was to propose a Solid Waste Management Plan to reduce
the Pollution in the Educational Institution 81516 "Libertad", for this, surveys were applied
on the level of knowledge in solid waste management aimed at secondary school students.
The surveys had a Cronbach's alpha value of 0.7, providing theoretical-practical training.
Two surveys were applied to 87 students, where the results of Survey 01, highlighting
important questions, showed that 36% of respondents state that there is no continuity on the
management of solid waste in the school and only 45% are constantly informed about the
topic. In Survey 02 it was found that 95% of students are interested in the implementation
of a Solid Waste Management Plan to minimize contamination, deficiencies obtained in the
results were reduced through commitments, training and productive activities in the
management solid waste, recommending a Solid Waste Management Plan.
