Pobreza multidimensional en los distritos de la provincia de Trujillo, enero – diciembre 2016

La presente investigación sirvió para determinar si existe pobreza multidimensional en los distritos de la provincia de Trujillo, según las dimensiones consideradas por Oxford Poverty & Human Development Initiative (OPHI): salud, educación y nivel de vida. Se realizó una Investigación de tipo No Experimental Correlacional de corte Transversal, y se aplicó una técnica multivariada, Análisis Discriminante, para identificar un perfil de hogares en situación de pobreza multidimensional. Se utilizó los datos de la Encuesta Nacional de Hogares – ENAHO 2016, la muestra fue de 614 hogares encuestados de los distritos de la provincia de Trujillo, evaluados en 3 dimensiones: Educación, Nivel de vida y Salud, considerando 10 variables que representan las Dimensiones, las cuales se encuentran clasificadas en “Hogares con Pobreza Multidimensional” y “Hogares sin Pobreza Multidimensional”. Finalmente, la clasificación en base a la muestra de análisis indica que por el grupo de hogar sin pobreza multidimensional el 96% de los hogares fueron clasificados correctamente, y el 4% no fue clasificado correctamente. El grupo hogar con pobreza multidimensional fue 78.3% clasificado correctamente y el 21.7% no fue clasificado correctamente. Con esto se concluye que las funciones obtenidas tienen una buena capacidad predictora
