The present thesis study is based on increasing the reliability of the heavy
machinery of the company TUIISAC, based on a Maintenance Management
System through the equipment risk methodology of the AMEF and NPR.
The study evaluated 12 operating heavy machines of the company, machinery
such as: front loaders, excavators, backhoes, dumpers, motor grader and
pneumatic roller; which in the 2016 period incurred a total of 1768 repair hours,
which caused an economic loss due to failures in full production of 298400
nuevos soles.
For the period of 2016, an evaluation was made of all the heavy machinery,
finding 299 interventions, with an average time to repair of 5.91 hours of repair
/ intervention and an average time between failures of 40.18 useful hours /
intervention; finding an availability of 87.17%, reliability of 78.33% and
maintainability of 12.94%.
Then a criticality analysis of equipment was carried out, based on 5 criteria:
Frequency of failures, operational impact, operational flexibility, maintenance
costs, environmental and human safety. Obtaining 8 critical machines such as:
the 966F and 938G Front Loaders, 330VN Excavator, 420DL and 420E
Backhoes, Hamm Pneumatic Roller, Hino 700 Tipper and Volkswagen Worker
31 - 310.
A maintenance program was carried out based on risk, in information sheets
and decision sheets, estimating improvement indicators such as availability,
reliability and maintainability in conditions of improvement: 92.23%, 87.05%
and 12.83%.
