Efecto del decocto de mentha pulegium en ileon aislado de cavia porcellus.

El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo evaluar el efecto del decocto de tallos y hojas de Mentha pulegium en íleon aislado de Cavia porcellus. Las concentraciones de decocto usadas fueron al 10% y 20 %, a las dosis de 0,2mL, 0.5mL y 1mL, se trabajó con siete especímenes, los patrones utilizados fueron atropina y nifedipino. Estos órganos aislados fueron estimulados por acetilcolina y cloruro de potasio. Los resultados encontrados fueron que el decocto al 10 % (1mL) y al 20% (0,5mL y 1mL) redujeron la amplitud similar a atropina (p=0.07) y el decocto al 10 % (1mL) redujo la frecuencia similar a atropina (p=0.20), previa administración de acetilcolina. El decocto al 20 % (1mL) redujo la amplitud similar a nifedipino (p=0.96) y el decocto a ninguna de las dosis de las concentraciones utilizadas redujo la frecuencia similar a nifedipino (p=1.00), previa administración de cloruro de potasio.
