Resumen
El presente estudio de investigación cuantitativo retrospectivo, de tipo
descriptivo correlacional, se realizó en el Hospital Regional Docente de Trujillo,
durante los meses de mayo 2005 - agosto 2006; con la finalidad de determinar la
relación existente entre los factores biosocioculturales: edad, paridad, controles
prenatales y nivel de instrucción sobre la hipertensión inducida por el embarazo.
La muestra estuvo constituida por 2 grupos; grupo I: 138 historias clínicas de
gestantes con hipertensión y grupo II: 138 historias clínicas de gestantes sin
hipertensión, de las que se obtuvieron los datos en un instrumento elaborado por
la autora. Los datos obtenidos fueron procesados siguiendo un patrón de
tabulación manual y estadística mediante la prueba de independencia de criterios
Chi cuadrado, llegando a las siguientes conclusiones:
Las gestantes con hipertensión presentaron un mayor porcentaje en la edad
menor igual a 19 años (51.45 por ciento), siendo las nulíparas las que mayormente
(64.49 por ciento), se ubican en el grupo de las hipertensas, a diferencia de las no
hipertensivas que fueron de edades entre 20 a 35 años (74.64 por ciento), multíparas
(52.17 por ciento), Sobre control prenatal y nivel de instrucción no existe diferencia
estadística, en ambos casos los porcentajes son similares. Por tanto sólo las
variables edad y paridad influyen significativamente en la Hipertensión Inducida
por el Embarazo.
