El ensilado como alternativa ambiental y económica en la transformación de la cascarilla de arroz como alimento de ganado en la provincia de san martín

La investigación se desarrolló el proceso de ensilado para aprovechar la cascarilla de arroz en alimento de ganado como una alternativa ambiental y económica. Para la obtención del ensilado se empleó como materia prima la cascarilla de arroz, empleándose como inóculo yogurt (Lactobacillus bulgaricus y Streptococcus thermophylus) y como sustrato se empleó sacarosa (azúcar de caña). Para lograr la concentración adecuada de sacarosa se utilizó dos dosificaciones y cinco tratamiento por dosificación que fueron 0, 5, 10, 15 y 20% en peso; y 0, 5, 7,5, 10 y 12,5 % en peso. En la matriz puede apreciarse que los problemas más relevantes fueron la contaminación por quema de la cáscara y paja de arroz. Se pudo observar en el análisis de la composición proximal para ambas dosificaciones que hay un aumento en el valor de proteínas a mayor contenido de azúcar en la muestra, esto se debió a la transformación de carbohidratos por acción de las bacterias presentes en el inóculo. El valor de carbohidratos y de grasa también aumentó a mayor porcentaje de azúcar en la muestra. El valor de cenizas tuvo tendencia a disminuir con la mayor concentración de azúcar. Se concluyó que es factible convertir la cascarilla de arroz en un ensilado para ganado vacuno.
