Determinación de niveles freáticos y calidad de agua subterránea para consumo – zona baja – distrito de Víctor Larco Herrera – Trujillo – La Libertad

Abstract

El objetivo del presente estudio es evaluar los niveles freáticos y calidad del agua subterránea en la zona baja del distrito de Víctor Larco Herrera, Trujillo, La Libertad. Para este estudio se utilizó síes (06) pozos ubicados en distintos puntos del distrito de Víctor Larco Herrera, que vienen siendo utilizados para el regadío de parques y jardines en algunos casos. En el presente estudio se evaluó los valores ascendentes de los niveles freáticos en el parte baja de la ciudad de Trujillo (oeste), realizando un registro semanal con el apoyo del instrumento llamado piezómetro y teniendo muestras de agua subterránea para analizar todos los parámetros de calidad como son los químicos: pH, conductividad eléctrica, sulfatos, carbonatos, bicarbonatos, dureza (Ca, Mg), metales tóxicos (As, Cd, Pb, Ba, entre otros) y RSC (Carbonato Sódico Residual) y biológicos: OD, DBO, DQO, bacterias, virus, carbón orgánico, etc. Los resultados mostraron los niveles bajo, medio o alto riesgo que tiene la zona más baja de Trujillo con respecto al nivel freático ascendente, diseñando un mapa isofreático; partiendo de un monitoreo de todos los puntos identificados en la zona. Con los resultados químicos y biológicos de la calidad del agua subterránea se clasificó para su uso, fines y categoría, descrita en el reglamento de la Autoridad Nacional del Agua – ANA a fin de aprovechar su explotación si fuera el caso. Además de los resultados de análisis de metales pesados en el agua de acuerdo a los Estándares de Calidad Ambiental-ECA del MINAM. La explotación del recurso sería una alternativa muy importante para efectos del drenaje vertical si el estudio demuestra el alto riesgo que tiene la zona con niveles ascendentes menores de 5 m del nivel freático.

The objective of the present study is to evaluate the groundwater levels and low quality of the groundwater in the area Victor Larco Herrera district, Trujillo, La Libertad. For this study, six (06) wells located in different points of the Víctor Larco Herrera district will be used, which are being used for the irrigation of parks and gardens in some cases. The present study will evaluate the ascending values of the groundwater levels in the lower part of the city of Trujillo (west), making a biweekly record with the support of the instrument called piezometer and collecting the groundwater sample to analyze quality parameters such as chemical: pH, electrical conductivity, sulfates, carbonates, bicarbonates, hardness (Ca, Mg), toxic metals (As, Cd, Pb, Ba, among others) and RSC (Residual Sodium Carbonate) and biologicals: OD, BOD, COD, virus, organic carbon, etc. The results will show the low, medium or high risk levels of the lower Trujillo zone with respect to the rising water table, and an iso-frematic map is designed based on a monitoring of the points identified in the zone. With the chemical and biological results of groundwater quality will be classified for use, purposes and category, described in the regulation of the National Water Authority - ANA in order to take advantage of its exploitation if it were the case. In addition to the results of heavy metal analysis in the water according to the Environmental Quality Standards-ECA of the MINAM. The exploitation of the resource would be a very important alternative for effects of vertical drainage if the study shows that high risk that has the area with level ascending to less than 5 m of the water table.
