Abstract

La matemática es una actividad humana y ocupa un lugar relevante en el desarrollo del conocimiento y de la cultura de nuestras sociedades. Se encuentra en constante desarrollo y reajuste, y por ello sustenta una creciente variedad de investigaciones en las ciencias, las tecnologías modernas y otras, las cuales son fundamentales para el desarrollo integral del país. Esta área de aprendizaje contribuye en formar ciudadanos capaces de buscar, organizar, sistematizar y analizar información, entender el mundo que los rodea, desenvolverse en él, tomar decisiones pertinentes y resolver problemas en distintos contextos de manera creativa.

Mathematics is a human activity and occupies a relevant place in the development of knowledge and culture in our societies. It is in constant development and readjustment, and therefore supports a growing variety of research in science, modern technologies and others, which are fundamental for the integral development of the country. This learning area contributes to the formation of citizens capable of searching, organizing, systematizing and analyzing information, understanding the world around them, developing in it, making relevant decisions and solving problems in different contexts in a creative way.
