Modelamiento geomecánico para la reducción de la incertidumbre del macizo rocoso, utilizando técnicas geoestadísticas en el estudio de prefactibilidad del Túnel Nazareth, cía. minera San Rafael 2019

La presente tesis aborda uno de los factores que se tienen en cuenta dentro de la fase de estudio
y ejecución de un proyecto, las características de calidad del macizo rocoso sobre el cual se realizará
una excavación subterránea, normalmente se hace la interpretación geológica de las fallas, brechas y
diques que son levantados por el área de geología. Dentro de los trabajos de ampliación de reservas
que ejecuta toda compañía minera, se hacen sondajes, los cuales proporcionan la información de las
estructuras presentes en el macizo rocoso y si estas son económicamente rentables, la propuesta es
hacer uso de los testigos recuperados para obtener la información necesaria como es el RQD,
resistencia a la compresión y con los modelos teóricos planteados de Bienawsky, Bartón y otros, poder
relacionarlo a la calidad del macizo rocoso y a través de ello elaborar un modelo geomecánico haciendo
uso de las técnicas estadísticas y geoestadísticas, a fin de obtener una zonificación en base a la calidad
del macizo rocoso usando el RMR89.
En la secuencia de trabajo planteado, en primer lugar, se hace la evaluación en laboratorio de
los testigos para obtener el RQD haciendo una caracterización del mismo, que luego se complementa
con datos de laboratorio para obtener el RMR por tramos, los cuales nos ayudarán a elaborar nuestro
modelo geomecánico (en lugar de leyes se hará uso de la valoración geomecánica). Para tener una
mayor certeza de la información ingresada, se hace la evaluación en software, para verificar que los
datos sean estadísticamente correctos, se obtuvo errores los cuales fueron corregidos, para poder hacer
uso de los variogramas que nos permitan ver el alcance de nuestro modelo y el grado de certeza con el
que contamos. Concretado la compositación nos arroja las dimensiones de los bloques a usarse en el
modelo que fue de 3.0 m x 3.0 m x 3.0 m, pero por temas operativos se tomó las dimensiones de 5.0 m x
5.0 m x 5.0 m, dando como resultado un modelo geomecánico que dista mucho del modelo geológico,
donde se aprecia que la calidad del macizo rocoso a esa profundidad es Bueno (Clase II) y Regular
(Clase III), al igual que a lo largo de la zona de influencia del proyecto, se aprecia las fallas pero no llegan
a ser significantes, no significa que desaparezcan, sino que estas no llegan a influir en la calidad del
macizo rocoso.
