La Lesión del Principio de Integridad a través del Plan Esencial de Aseguramiento en Salud

Resumen
El presente trabajo tiene como objeto de investigación determinar si el principio de
integralidad de la seguridad social se lesiona a través del Plan Esencial de seguramiento en Salud, es decir si existe vulneración del principio de integralidad de la seguridad social al establecerse un listado limitado de condiciones asegurables en el Plan Esencial de Aseguramiento en Salud. El procedimiento empleado fue analizar jurisprudencia del
Tribunal Constitucional sobre el derecho a la protección de la salud, a la vida, a la dignidad y a la igualdad en relación al principio de integralidad de la seguridad social. También se identificó la carga de enfermedad que se presenta en el Perú y que debe ser cubierta por el Plan Esencial de Aseguramiento en Salud. Asimismo, se comparó los tipos de planes que ofrecen las instituciones administradoras de fondos de aseguramiento en salud, para conocer que seguro ofrece mayor cobertura de condiciones asegurables. Como también se analizó derecho comparado para dar a conocer la eficiencia de diversos sistemas de salud en el mundo; y se entrevistó a profesionales de la salud para conocer y recoger información respecto al tema investigado, y para formar una posición respecto a la lesión del principio
de integralidad a través del PEAS.
