Resumen
La presente investigación pone a conocimiento el uso de teledetección satelital para obtener
información de parámetros fisicoquímicos de manera periódica lo cual permite el monitoreo
permanente de la calidad del agua. Esto es posible ya que las imágenes provenientes de estos
sensores capturan la información en diferentes bandas del espectro electromagnético
suministrando información referente al porcentaje de reflectancia, tiene como objetivo
general teledetectar espectralmente los parámetros fisicoquímicos del agua de la laguna San
Nicolás mediante el uso de imágenes Landsat 8; y utilizó un método aplicada tecnológico,
cuasi experimental, longitudinal, correlacional, con un procedimientos espectral en gabinete
y de contrastación en campo, utilizando técnicas espectrales y de monitoreo puntual de
cuerpos de agua. Obteniéndose que es posible calcular parámetros fisicoquímicos del agua,
obteniéndose valores de pH, OD, turbidez y temperatura; la precisión de los datos y el margen
de error que se presenta en resultados es menor a medida que sea menor el tamaño de pixel,
lo cual demuestra que el futuro de los monitoreos de cuerpos de agua podrá lograrse de
manera automatizada a partir de técnicas satelitales, reduciéndose el margen de error
conforme mejore la resolución espectral y espacial de las imágenes satelitales.
