| dc.description | El artículo analiza el conflicto diplomático entre Paraguay y el Mercosur, suscitado en 2012, desde el humor político del diario ABC Color. El análisis se centra en cuatro caricaturas que guardan continuidades representativas en la construcción de sentido y en sus trazos estilísticos, correspondientes a mayo y a junio de 2013, y a febrero de 2014. Se observa que el humor gráfico refuerza la posición institucional del diario frente al conflicto diplomático, valiéndose del chiste hostil, tendencioso, estereotípico, de aparición recurrente y sistemática; asimismo, contribuye a posicionar un «sentido común visual», respecto a los representantes de la izquierda política y a las relaciones del Paraguay con el Mercosur, en los niveles político e ideológico. | |
| dc.description | The article analyzes the diplomatic conflict between Paraguay and the Mercosur, raised in 2012, seen from the political humor of the diary ABC Color. Four cartoons were selected that reflect continuities in the «construction of meaning» and in ites stylistic lines, corresponding to May and June, 2013, and to February, 2014. Is observed that humor strengthens the institutional position of ABC Color about the diplomatic conflict, using the hostile and tendentious joke, stereotypical, recurrent and systematical; also serves the purpose of positioning a «visual sense» regarding the representatives of the political left and relations of Paraguay with Mercosurat the political and ideological levels. | |
