Plan de contingencia para minimizar los riesgos naturales en la ciudad de Manta.

Abstract

Prevention is paramount, which is why the focus of this study is directed towards the elaboration of a contingency plan that minimizes the impact of natural hazards in the city of Manta province of Manabí, which suffered an earthquake last 16 of April 2016 in Ecuador. Research that is supported through the use of scientific articles, bibliographical citations, articles of prey and in the Constitution of the Republic of Ecuador. One of the fundamental bases to carry out the research is the creation of awareness in the citizens, encouraging a preventive culture through the use of technological advances such as: a GPS application that is activated without the need of internet, the use of devices electronic (drones) that allow us to obtain a broader view of the magnitude of the disaster with this will contribute to the rescue can be performed agilely, another of the alternatives is the proper use of social networks to inform in real time From the scene. The final proposal for this plan is to form a preventive culture educating the population through television programs, simulations in educational institutions and preventive workshops where the family participates to support the development in the face of a natural disaster.
