Vygotsky's theory mentions language as a process of social interaction that arises in three moments, socially, egocentric and internalized, where the subject uses specific signs and symbols to express his thoughts, ideas and emotions. Language studies were initiated around Psycholinguistics, emerging various theories explaining the emergence and development of human language. Authors such as Noam Chomsky, suggest that language is innate in nature, however behaviorist postures propose that language is acquired from associations between stimulus-response, on the other hand cognitivist postures such as epistemology Piaget's genetics emphasize that the language originates from the cognitive development of the child thanks to the interaction organism-environment, while the historical-cultural tendency of Vygotsky mentions that the language is developed from the interaction Of the individual, this interaction allows the construction of thoughts in a rational way. Updated research shares the ideas of Vygotsky and his followers, indicating the types of mediators and involvement of adults for the establishment of a correct language, keeping precaution from very early ages before any Alert. Therefore, the present work is of descriptive research that opens way to know the evolution, process, development and factors that intervene in the language. Aiming to describe the development of language in children through a bibliographical review of the main theories on language and emphasize the historical-cultural line of Vygotsky.
