Resumen
HELLP syndrome is a serious complication of hypertensive disorders during pregnancy, is a disease that affects multiple systems, is given by an unfavourable prognosis in patients affected by hypertension during pregnancy. It can be distinguished by the hypertensive disorder plus the triad that consists in the reduction of platelet count, hemolysis and elevation of liver enzymes. This disorder occurs in a percentage of 0.5 to 0.9% in all pregnancies and increases in patients suffering from pre-eclampsia-eclampsia by 10 to 20%, in the Western world some of those responsible for greater maternal death is pre-eclampsia from 10 to 15% and in Latin America the PORC Counting increases by 26%. Nursing activities in primary health care are vital because education and advocacy will help the early detection of pregnancy complications that may lead to maternal-neonatal death. Through strategies such as the National Sexual and reproductive health Plan, the CONE (Essential Obstetric and Neonatal Care) and maternal alarm strategy, help us provide quality care as nursing assists pregnant women at all levels of Attention and carries out activities that help to prevent, diagnose and control the disease. The objective of this research is to analyze a clinical case of a patient in the Theophilus Dávila General Hospital with HELLP syndrome through the review of clinical history and scientific articles to seek strategies to prevent death Maternal by this pathology. The study was qualitatively descriptive, based on the clinical history of a patient who was admitted to the gynecology area of the General Theophilus Dávila Hospital, and a bibliographical search of scientific articles was carried out. Concluding that HELLP syndrome is independent of a hypertensive disorder and that, due to its complications such as renal failure, cerebral hemorrhage, hepatic rupture, among others, lead to a maternal death. This syndrome occurs in the third trimester of pregnancy and is identified in the obstetrical consultation, most often related to hypertensive disorders during pregnancy taking into account that the syndrome may occur in an atypical way as in This research and complicate in the puerperium. The main axis of the nursing intervention for the early detection of diseases that occur during the gestation process lies in the first level of care being the nursing professional the first contact that the patient has with the team Multidisciplinary health. Infirmary intervenes in the identification of risk factors in pregnancy and the signs of alarm that can present the pregnant woman, in addition to promote the education and promotion of the health providing a quality assistance to the woman during her gestation process. Nursing staff require training, skill and effectiveness to implement strategies focused on antenatal care, childbirth, neonatal and post-partum in order to reduce maternal mortality.
