The main objective of this work is to design and calculate a system of hydraulic-sanitary facilities of a residential building of four floors, for this purpose it was governed by the requirements established by the Ecuadorian Construction Standard NEC-2011 in chapter 16. The building It is located in the city of Machala, province of El Oro, in the streets: Avenida Bolívar Madero Vargas between 11ava and 12ava west. In this building two alternatives were proposed for an internal network of drinking water and the most feasible system for said building was determined. Among the proposed alternatives are a network of potable water distributed by means of an elevated tank and another distribution by means of a hydropneumatic tank. The network for rainwater drainage and an independent system of hot water network was also developed. We proceeded to design in AutoCAD the architectural plans of the building, as well as all the networks of drinking water, sanitary and rainwater drainage, in order to know all the accessories of the network, lengths and number of appliances, which are directly related when calculating the hydrosanitary system carried out using the Excel program. The simultaneity method was applied to calculate drinking water supply and for the drainage system, the unloading units method was used, thus obtaining a better pumping and distribution system, convenient from the technical and economic points of view .
