The objective of this work is to promote the value of literary studies as a vehicle for communication and human development, a substantial contribution in the academic training of professionals in the field of communication. The methodology consists of the content analysis of the work-object of study El Túnel, by the Argentine writer Ernesto Sabato, which highlights its psychosocial, cultural and historical value and its impact on society. From this perspective, in order to answer these questions, it delves into the ideological nature of the main character, taking as a basis the psychological, intellectual and human load in his behavioral response, to present the reader with a typological summary of the main characteristics that they share the femicides. The results are corroborated through the use of the technique of interviewing four professionals in the area of psychology and an additional fact testimony from a psychology student. Based on content analysis and theoretical testing, the intervention proposal consists of synthesizing the plot of the book in a cinematographic script, in such a way that the synopsis of the book (booktrailer) is evidenced in a short time, thus seeking to generate interest in potential new readers of the work, who depending on the literary and audiovisual languages can decide whether the story is to their liking or not. The intervention is configured as a response based on current trends related to the consumption of film languages and film analysis, a proposal is built to exploit literary discourse as a basis to sustain a more or less complex audiovisual discourse in terms of structures narratives.
