One of the problems that the planet has is environmental pollution, a situation that has forced countries to implement laws and regulations for their conservation. In Ecuador companies are obliged to comply with environmental laws, however, controls are not entirely efficient, resulting in companies not taking precautionary measures, causing a high environmental impact to the detriment of the surrounding community. The proposal to be made is a plan for the prevention, mitigation and remediation of the "El Pache" Benefit Plant of the Portovelo canton. This originates as a small-scale industrial benefit plant in the mining sector, where materials from the mines are processed to obtain the desired metal and use products that contain chemicals, which, when discarded, increase environmental pollution to the detriment of the communities that are around, affecting their health and quality of life. The general objective is to describe the environmental problems in which the El Pache benefit plant of the Portovelo canton is located. The methodology used was the descriptive and analytical one for the determination of the environmental risks for its later solution through a prevention, mitigation and remediation plan.
