The main objective of this practical work is to design the hydro-sanitary facilities for a three-story residential building, considering the application of the Ecuadorian Construction Standards NEC-11, chapter 16. Two potable water supply systems were designed in order to compare quality standards from the economic and technical point of view. The calculation methods that were used are based on bibliographic research carried out in advance. Previously the drawing of the hydrosanitary networks with the software AutoCad2016 was made, from where the distances, heights and the accessories to be used were obtained. With the data obtained and through Excel tables it was calculated: the water supply required for the building; the pumping equipment for the indirect system with elevated tank; the minimum, maximum pressure, volume and power of the pump for the hydropneumatic system. In the calculation of drinking water supply networks, the simultaneity factor method was used and for the residual network system, the discharge units method was used, determining the minimum speeds and diameters described in the standard.
