Nowadays shrimp farming has become one of the main economic activities in Ecuador, which generates great economic returns for organizations that develop in the sector (Membreño, Morales, & Martínez, 2014). Many shrimp producers invest their efforts in R & D, technology, and good manufacturing practices to ensure strict quality control. Marecuador Cia. Ltda. Is a company dedicated to the export of shrimp, which has achieved its permanence in the market thanks to the successful quality control in the production process; applying verification methods to determine the quality of the final product, in this way achieving competitive advantage in the domestic and foreign market. Marecuador inspects all the processes involved in the production, beginning with shrimp farming, until fishing in which the quality of the raw material obtained is evaluated. In the production process it is essential the organoleptic analysis to determine the performance of the shrimp and its subsequent classification, once the product is packaged, its final consumption is guaranteed; which is the result of all the quality control established in the company. The objective of this research is to identify the methods of inspection carried out by Marecuador, through quality control in its production processes for its subsequent commercialization in the market; To determine its efficiency, an investigation exhaustive was carried out using techniques of descriptive research and direct observation. Theoretical support is based on books and scientific journals.
