Resumen
The Jubones River is rich in stone materials, its richness is derived from the diversity of resources that it offers and that are mostly used for construction purposes, within its lower basin located in the Iberia sector, it is predominantly fine sand washed, this resource has qualities that make it very coveted since they are of high quality and allows better finishes for construction, however an accelerated growth of the local population produced a great demand for this material for construction, this has brought with it a overexploitation and substantial reduction of the sand resource of the river due to the fact that the consumption rate of the resource is higher compared to a slow recovery of the same. For this reason, the present research work was aimed at developing a program of sustainability and sustainability of the sand resource in the Iberia sector that meets the needs of present and future generations. The research presents a descriptive approach, due to the fact that it becomes familiar with the subject of aggregates for construction. The methodology used is of a descriptive nature, where the main environmental and social impacts generated by the extraction of sand are detailed. Similarly, the quantitative method was used, where data was obtained on the volumes of sand extracted by the concessions on a daily basis. An evaluation matrix was also developed, using the method of Vicente Coneza Fernández in which the importance of the environmental impact was obtained.
