dc.description.abstractThe present study to determine the incidence and risk conditions predisposing to develop postpartum depression thus able to conduct a screening that allows us to prevent the development of possible complications that can lead us to this pathology this research is considered a cross-sectional clinical study, in which the descriptive method applied to health sciences, which measured the incidence of exposure to developing states of postpartum depression in new mothers who come to the area of gynecology outpatient used and obstetrics at San Vicente de Paul Hospital of Canton Pasaje el Oro Province in the fourth quarter of 2014.
