Resumen
This paper consists in a bibliographical review of argumentative character, where scientific articles and books from the Ministry of Education about the teachings of reading and writing in first grade were analyze, given that teachers have detected problems and errors in developing skills that allow their learning, which prevents students from reaching the skills established in the national curriculum. In conclusion the importance of strengthening literacy teaching processes in basic General education preparatory, has been identify as a priority, and by implementing a didactic sequence based on the Willems method, as it encompasses auditory and motor development through music and play, as it helps to correct difficulties and to obtain meaningful learning.
