dc.description.abstractThe present work is framed in analyzing the labor insertion of people with disabilities; through documentary research, based on the contribution of the following authors: Mercado & García 2010, Chamorro & Silvero 2014, Ciruelos 2014, Díaz 2015, Hernández & Millan 2015, Ríos 2015, Mareño 2015, Mataron 2016, Vidal & Cornejo 2016, Godoy 2017, Heras 2017, Alonso 2017, Aguilar & Yusta 2017, García, Cedeño & Cobacango 2018, Moreira, Zambrano & Cabezas 2018. It is concluded that in the context of contemporary society, people with disabilities have rights established in the international human rights instruments and the laws and policies of each countries, rights that sponsor their labor insertion within the framework of the correct exercise of their rights; however despite the efforts of the states, there are still limitations focused on the historical stereotype that identifies people with disabilities, in spite of this, the law obliges companies to include people with disabilities in the recruitment process to provide equal opportunities and achieve their inclusion; around compliance with the law and inserts at work, the rights of persons with disabilities are not exempt from de violation, the lack of diffusion and the ignorance of the same are factors that influence so that this happens.
