With the purpose of Investigating the low level of efficiency of the distribution channels, which cause the fall in the sales of Distriorense SA distributor in the city of Machala, a field research has been developed for which the observation was used direct and interview to those in charge of directing the processes in the distribution channel area. The results of the research are used to know the current state of the organization specifically marketing, also allows notice inconsistencies within the channels which often results in lost time transport costs and little coverage in the local market. It was investigated that the distribution channel does not possess the technologies of information innovation, which makes its work more unruly, resulting in a lack of competitiveness within the distribution processes. The implementation of a geographic information system called ArcGIS was proposed to solve the inefficiency of the distribution channels, which will allow the automation of the shortest and most efficient delivery routes, this will lead to the saving of resources during the Distribution process, time thanks to the application software will allow us to take greater care of the after sales service, that is, this will give greater priority to customer service, in the same way the implementation of strategies that will allow the organization to gain competitiveness in the market and improve your sales levels.
