Resumen
Preeclampsia is the continuous increase of blood pressure 140 / 90mmhg between a 4-hour interval in each shot, with evidence of proteinuria greater than or equal to 300mg in 24 hours, which can be accompanied by edema, usually occurs in women in pregnancy. One of the main risk factors that is related to this pathology is primigravidez, family history, ethnicity, chronic arterial hypertension, multiple pregnancies and diabetes mellitus. In the present investigative work, the objective is the elaboration of care plans that allow to provide quality and efficient care to prevent future complications. The methodology was descriptive-qualitative by means of a bibliographic review on the subject, which allowed us to identify the risk factors and complications of this disease. As future nursing professionals we must apply the nursing care process, in which the nursing diagnoses (NANDA), objectives (NOC) and interventions (NIC) are established, in addition to the participation by the nursing staff, the same as it plays a very important role in the management of a preeclamptic patient.
