Resumen
The commercialization of raw material has been a problem that in Ecuador has generated the loss of generating greater income if only value were added to the products. This research aimed to identify in the map of the value chain of the production, transformation and commercialization of products derived from Sacha Inchic the opportunity to increase profits in this economic activity through the situational diagnosis of the activity. The research methodology was cross-sectional descriptive, using research techniques such as direct observation in the medium and documentary observation of articles in scientific journals; In addition, it was developed in four stages, with the mapping of the value chain corresponding to a method consisting of ten phases. As a result, it was obtained that the commercialization of Sacha Inchic derivatives is being promoted through a government plan and that the properties of this dry grain make it attractive for the consumption of people who want to improve their diet, so their presence must be in Self-service through glass containers since as an image it generates greater impact on its commercialization. It has been concluded that the added value depends even on the presentation of the product, that even this alters the production process, and that it is also necessary to create information dissemination programs as a complement; All this could be represented on a map of the value chain.
