I will analyze two texts made by C. Alberini toward 1920, which are very examples of the inflections of an antipositivist discourse in Argentina, addressed to give social identity and legitimacy to emerging philosophical field. These texts show both the explicit representations with which this field thinks his social function and the new theoretical language whereby those representations are satisfied. The personalism will be the expression of such a discursive building, dislocated by the negative definition of his main category -the “personality”-, faced with the built image of his positivist enemy.
