Arte monumental telúrico de la época precolombina en Azuay y Cañar

Abstract

In this paper, at first, it identifies the main icons, Apus, tall shrines and ceremonial centers of Azuay and Cañar with the help of Pumapungo ceques system as ceques system replica of Cuzco. In a second time, with the support of the Andean world, iconography, archaeoastronomy and sacred geography takes the analysis of telluric monumental artworks located within Pumapungo ceques system. And finally, there is the need to build a Latin American art based on deep knowledge of pre-Columbian art and the elements of the Andean world.
