Resumen
Precedents
The hypertension induced by the pregnancy is an important reason of illness-mortality mother and neonatal.
Objective.
To determine the sensibility, specificity, predictive values, and area COR of uric acid in relation with the increase of the flujometria doppler as predictor of hypertension induced by the pregnancy.
Material and methods:
Study of diagnostic tests in parallel, between the valuation of flujometria doppler (golden rule) in the uterine artery between the weeks 7-14 and 18-24 weeks of gestation; with values of uric acid =3.5 mg/dl in proof positive and diagnosis of hypertensive pathology on having finished the pregnancy in the Humanitarian Clinic. Cuenca - Ecuador 2016.
Results.
209 patients took part with a middle age of 26.83 years, presenting hypertensive pathology of the pregnancy 4.4 %. There obtained a sensibility of 11.11%, specificity 42%, predictive positive value 0.85, predictive negative value 99.7%. Reason of positive verisimilitude 0.19, reason of negative verisimilitude 2.12. Area of curves COR correlated with determination of flujometria dopler by means of: Index of pulsatilidad 0.447 (0.311-0.584), Index of resistance 0.669 (0.503-0.834) and uric acid of 0.778 (0.638-0.918). To dichotomize in proof positive to the uric acid ≥ 3.5 mg/dl and flujometria increased there was obtained the value of area of 0.771 and 0.450 respectively
Conclusions: We show that the uric acid test is very sensitive, which allows us to rule out hypertensive pathology with few false positives. As this is a previously unspecified test for prevention, similar studies should be carried out for comparative purposes
