Resumen
The present work aims to create a methodological guide for children from 8 to 9 years old, who are usually attending the fourth year of Basic Education; through the analysis and comparison of methodologies worked by Karl Orff, Zóltan Kodály and Raymond Murray Schafer, who have developed the rhythmic, melodic and rhythmic-melodic theme in children. Starting on these fundamentals based on rhythm, we have considered the use of five Ecuadorian musical genres that generate variety at the time of teaching music. The genres that have been used to develop these children's rounds are: Albazo, Yaraví, Pasacalle, Sanjuanito and Tono del Niño; those who can complement the musical education in the educational centers of our country. The melodies of these rounds gradually increase their level of difficulty, either rhythmically or melodically, those that seek to further develop students' skills and abilities in the reading, writing, analysis, creativity and the ability to memorize through the practice and the connection of the musical activity with other areas of education. The teacher will be in charge of guiding to conception partial or total of this work. At the end, the harmonic accompaniment is annexed for these unpublished rounds, which will allow a better interpretation
