dc.description.abstractThis paper deals with the graduation Difference academic performance in mathematics between urban and rural students in eighth Year of Basic Education in the canton Azogues. The same is divided into two parts: the first Theoretical Foundations, where concepts freely and rules implemented by the Ministry of Ecuador against different topics is presented, also contains goals to be according to the Design of Good living; The guidance curriculum, knowledge of students, the methodology used by teachers and their qualifications: Diagnosis in the second part, the research was conducted four major aspects. The diagnosis was made in four Azogues Canton Educational establishments, two urban: Luis Roberto Cordero and Rhodes; two rural Ezequiel Cárdenas (Guapán) and Javier Loyola. Studies in each facility allowing several conclusions are then compared.
