The present investigative work called: “antibiotic evaluation of Staphylococcus aureus susceptibility” in extern otitis in three veterinary centers in Cuenca Ecuador has been made in the bacteriological laboratory in the Cuenca University. For this work we took samples of the ears of sick dogs with this kind of disease. To analyze this samples we followed these steps: cultivation, typication, (biochemical test), and antibiogramas. To the isolation of the Staphylococcus aureus we used the cultivation means like blood agar, manitol salt agar, and gram´s staining differentiating gram (–) and gram (+). For the statistical analyze we made the following loads: Pearson´s x2 ; Kolmogórov-Smirnov test; Shapiro–Wilk test; Kruskal-Wallis test and Logistic Binary Regression, having the following results: Amoxicillin with Clavulanic Acid and Ciprofloxacin 89,4%; Norfloxacin 85,1%; Cefalexine 80,9%; even the lower susceptibility antibiotics were Gentamicin 53,2% and Neomycin with 21,3%
