Determinantes sociales de la salud familiar de la parroquia de Sinincay, Cuenca año 2010

Abstract

ABSTRACT The process health – disease is connected to various social determinants, our study was based on the understanding of certain factors which affect families who live in the Zone 2 of the community of Sinincay. Cuenca 2010. Aim: Stipulate the characteristics of the health-disease and its determinants in the population of Sinincay. Materials and methods: With an universe of study that was formedof 1012 families and realized through the collection of family files of the MSP with information collected from December 2012 until March 2012 we made a transverse investigation. The processing was done with help of the SPSS program. To prove our hypothesis we used the following statistic methods: the description part: numbers and percent, the analytic part was based on confidence and value of the people. Results: The factors which most affected the population are the social-economy factors, of which the qualification of low risk has the mayor percentage, connected specially with poverty: a lot of them are not modifiable (accumulation of people like crowds, violence and others); we also found a huge impact of diseases of the circulation of blood associated specially with the HTA that is again connected with metabolic diseases like the diabetes Mellitus Type II, diseases gastrointestinal which has its origins in the high level of the parasites in the population. Conclusion: There are very few studies allowing the comparison with obtained information in this field of work. But it is manageable to analyze that the social-economic-factor is one of the fundamental pieces of the problem of health-disease of a community, therefore we suggest examining in different ways the APS from the part of various authorities who control the health in this community.
