This article is based on an educational experience with third cycle students of the Design Career at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Cuenca Ecuador, whose objective is to synthesize the field of three dimensional design, and interpret how human perception assimilates the three-dimensional space that an individual occupies and how this perception is the key for a designer in the creative process of forms or objects. The starting point is to know, understand and adopt a definition of three dimensional design, to know about the fields of performance and above all to master and apply the fundamentals, operations and methods that are part of a methodology in the learning process. Theoretical tools that sustain human creativity to transform ideas into real objects, in beautiful and interesting decorative and utilitarian creations. The theoretical practical application of the three dimensional design in the training process derives in incorporating a behavior in the project practice reaching a level of important motivation.
