This dissertation work concerns the main touristic activities analysis that take place across the BiocorredorYanuncay, from San Joaquin parish in Cuenca canton, Azuay province; restaurants, crop of organic gardens and cesteria, these activities will be studied in relation of the sustainability, the same that is considered as a basic part for the management of all types of economic activity.
Implementation of sustainability in the touristic activity has helped to service providers and tourists opt for a high conscious mentality, not only regard to the environmental but also in the sociocultural and economic, which together are a balanced pattern development and everyone benefits.
The document of "Tourism Practices Guide" developed by the Rainforest Alliance, has been important for the analysis. Within this document are exposed best practices that relate to each aspect of sustainability.
To achieve the objective of study has been made surveys, as well those responsible for analysis activities as visitors, the information collected is qualitative and quantitative, with the obtained results is identifiable whether activities are sustainable or not.
