Resumen
The present work is a study and a technical and descriptive analysis of the symbolic elements in the housing and in the traditional architecture Ecuadoran Kichwa de la Amazonia. In this study one will been aware of the Amazonian culture, his rites, customs, cultures, and especially the cosmovision and simbology that agglutinate the indigenous houses Kichwa. We will see for it, the implication of the different cultures in the Amazonian world, and the behavior and the symbiosis that takes place in the meeting of these worlds.
To know and to raise this work has been necessary a direct approximation with the community Kichwa, where one has been aware on the area of the key elements: simbology, ancient practices, environment, housings, supply, hunt, fishing, pharmacological world, etc.
All this, it has allowed us the production of a three- dimensional model scale, which demonstrates the personality of the people Kichwa: his architectural form, his space, his archetypal vision, his practical and spiritual applications, his meaning and his cosmological implication.
