Resumen
The primary purpose of the study is to determine the impact of the Efficient Cooking Plan (PCE) at the distribution networks that provides electrical service to Loja city, based on the study of the induction cooker itself examining its properties and fundamentals.
The determination of this impact starts with a statistical process in which, through surveys, the ways of cooking and usage of hot shower are determined, allowing to build the baseline over the one the research raises, habit curves of hourly use or hourly variation factor of the stove and water heaters. With the help of these curves, power from induction cookers and electric heaters used in different feeders and S/E of Loja is projected.
The increased demand in the four substations that serve Loja is analyzed determining parameters of current and future chargeability for each one. For the increased demand on S/E feeders analysis, CYMDIST software is used, this appliance allows to establish the more affected and critical feeders.
Finally, the most critical feeder is selected based on the percentage of residential customers connected, percentage of overloaded transformers, voltage drop and total length of the feeder. A reconfiguration is performed to the feeder allowing it withstand the new load, keeping required limits of voltage and normal conditions.
