Nowadays, the need to reflect and study about the processes of leadership in organizations, is due to the importance of innovation, efficiency and the improvement of the quality of relational processes for the survival and impact of the organization. Accordingly, this study seeks to analyze the impact of a leadership training program for leaders at the territorial level of Azuay. For this, the MLQ (Multifactorial Leadership Questionnaire) test was applied at the beginning and end of the training program, as well as interviews with the participants and the facilitators at the end of the training. The results showed a statistically significant increase in the skills and knowledge of participants in transformational leadership at the end of the training program. The research recommends these training programs in organizations and companies to continue, as they prove to be effective in increasing transformational leadership in a population involved with management and development processes.
