Dos arreglos del género Hard Rock para ensamble de bajos eléctricos

Abstract

The present work set out a proposal of two musical arrangements for assembling three electric basses on themes of the hard rock genre, due to the lack of material for assembling electric basses where contemporary techniques in the hard rock genre are exploited. There are almost no sheet music registers for a bass ensemble, so it is intended to cover the few arrangement guides with the particularities of the aforementioned genre for the electric bass. The object of study of this project is linked to the analysis of the songs and the arranging techniques for them. The objectives of this project were to carry out Chapter 1 on the characteristics and techniques of the electric bass, analyze the musical form of hard rock, and explain the construction process of the two arrangements. The research techniques used were the bibliographic review, and for the realization of the arrangements, the compilation of various techniques for electric bass by Billy Sheehan was taken into account. The main results of the work include the explanation of the bass techniques and a detailed description of the techniques used to build the musical arrangements. In this work, it is concluded that the arranging possibilities of the hard rock genre are feasible because it will help bassists solve practical problems since it will have detailed music sheets of the arrangements
