The following proposal of educational innovation responds to the field of human formation of the Ecuadorian national curriculum, which visualizes ethical values as a fundamental part in the integral development of students. Its objective is to design a didactic guide for the exercise of ethical values from an ethical-crítical vision of Freirean orientation in boys and girls of fourth year of Basic General Education of the Millennium Education Unit Francisco Febres Cordero. To achieve this objective, at first, a diagnosis was made, which starts from the elaboration of an instrument based on propositions that allow the development of a debate. The information obtained was coded, grouped into categories, the information was interpreted and the results were obtained that allowed us to confirm that students' perceptions, ideas regarding ethical values are different from practice. In a second moment, the revision of theoretical elements corresponding to ethical values, education in ethical values, all focused on a vision of ethical-crítical education of Freirean orientation, a key part of the work, was carried out. In a third moment the proposal is presented based on strategies (games, music, collage, etc.) that will be used to work on ethical values. The purpose is that the boys and girls of the 4th year of basic are able to feel visible and empowered as worthy subjects, thus allowing to form human beings, respectful, fair, supportive, recognizing and recognizing the other as a subject, who fights for a dignified life.
