Resumen
The methodological proposal is aimed at teachers of Differential Calculus at middle
and higher education levels. It provides an instructional methodology different from the
traditional one, generating meaningful learning in students through mathematical modeling.
This Mathematical modeling emerges in teaching as a modern strategy. In addition, it
strengthens autonomous learning and the construction of knowledge in students through the
contrast between mathematics and the context. This fact is reflected in the creation of
problems and their resolution. Finally, the proposal exposes the necessary tools for posing
problems such as the demonstrations of the derivatives of transcendental functions.
