Resumen
The present investigation tries to give new alternatives of construction, thus the elaboration of panels with synthetic fibers for façade cladding is proposed, it is proposed to replace the traditional components such as iron fibers by synthetic fibers adding them to the concrete. These panels will contribute to the construction some benefits such as: versatility, shorter construction time and therefore lower cost. The characteristics of the concrete in hardened state were determined, to evaluate the performance with fibers without them, analyzing the resistance to compression, to the indirect traction, bending and mode of elasticity. The technology of conventional concrete was applied for the concrete obtained with the addition of fibers, according to the standards established for the different mechanical tests. The tests were carried out in the Engineering and Architecture laboratory, obtaining results that demonstrate that the fibers provide greater resistance to compression, in the case of nylon and polypropylene fibers improved more than 50% in relation to the control concrete, by the three-dimensionality of the fibers also does not corrode or decompose. Regarding the flexion, results of an increase of up to 22.13% in test pieces and panels up to 21.08% were obtained and if we project the panels with thicknesses of thicker fibers than the one used, we would reach 142.17%. It is concluded therefore that the use of synthetic fibers for the manufacture of prefabricated panels for use within the construction is feasible.
