Resumen
The study of endophytic mycorrhizal fungi plays an important role in the conservation and reintroduction of orchids, it is considered that the relationship that exists between species that share a habitat is fundamental for the germination and development of these species, despite this, it is unknown the effect of habitat in common and its symbiotic relationships with microorganisms such as mycorrhizal endophytic fungi, since they can be the same or different between different fungi species with different species of orchids during germination. In the present study, the effect of five endophytic fungi isolated from Pleurothallis coriacardia on the in vitro germination of Epidendrum dalstromii was evaluated. To this end, a symbiotic germination trial was established where five treatments were evaluated with different endophytic fungi extracted from Pleurothallis coriacardia and two controls, one positive in Phytamax and one negative in Avena agar. The results obtained showed a possible specificity between the species of orchid and the endophyte fungi used, because there was no significant difference between the fungi evaluated with the controls, since, the positive control (Phytamax) was the one that presented the best results; therefore, the inocula of the fungi isolated from Pleurothallis coriacardia were not efficient as promoters of the germination of Epidendrum dalstromii although these two species share the same habitat
