Resumen
Objective: To evaluate compliance with the Standards Maternal - Neonatal in Obstetric Center area Vicente Corral Moscoso Hospital. Cuenca 2013.
Material and Methods: This is a descriptive study, quantitative and documentary, we worked with 203 medical records of mothers who gave birth in obstetric and neonatal complications, during the months of February, March and April of 2013.
The technique used was the review of 203 medical records that allowed the filling of the forms of maternal complications - Neonatal MSP Standards Manual and verifying compliance or non-compliance.
The data were processed and analyzed using the programs: Microsoft Office Word, Excel.
Results: Of the 203 medical records reviewed in the statistical area Vicente Corral Moscoso Hospital identified seven complications such as preeclampsia and eclampsia 55 patients, bleeding 29 patients, 32 patients infection, premature rupture of membranes 56 patients, infection in newborn 5 patients, 10 patients respiratory disorders, prematurity or low peso16 patients according to their diagnosis and treatment implementation of maternal and neonatal protocols established by the MSP is fulfilled 100% by the health personnel.
It also investigated the Obstetric Center area has 98.7% of the equipment, medical instruments and medicines that sends the norm.
