dc.description.abstractThis work consists of the musical analysis of the work "Estampas Serraniegas" by composer Luis Humberto Salgado, which is composed of six dances of Ecuadorian folkloric origin. This work is composed in 1947, which is framed in the Ecuadorian Nationalist period that covers the years 1903 - until the beginning of the XXI century approximately (Gutiérrez, 2004 2005), where is the musical work of outstanding composers Corsino Durán, Gerardo Guevara, Segundo Luis Moreno, Sixto María Durán, among others.
