dc.description.abstractThis project addresses the problem of existing signage at the School of Basic Education Joaquín Malo Tamariz city of Cuenca, as a guidance system does not exist and therefore it is difficult to own and strange local people have knowledge of the distribution places and tours of the institution. Therefore decisions were made to generate a design proposal to solve this problem. This project always takes into account different international color standards, iconography and meanings that apply to signage being so the end result has a contribution the author of this Project and different conditions preset for these issues, and also based on concepts and great authors approaches related to the topic. This system is directed to persons outside the institution where they were considered as the main public and also to own the place as peripheral public people. the study and analysis of the architecture of the place, its environmental characteristics, emblematic colors and others to get a graphic that fits the best way to place and solve the existing problems into account. The end result is resolved without too much saturation elements to the system, making an interesting proposal with sufficient and necessary relevant nformation.
